Richard Evans took the opportunity on a busy weekend to speak to 4BR about the standard of playing he and fellow judge Chris Wormald had enjoyed in the Fourth Section on Saturday morning.

Earlier in the day Richard had delivered a typically humorous, but clearly pointed analysis to the packed Harrogate hall, whilst he also accepted that perhaps the classic suite by Peter Yorke may have proved to have been a bit too severe a test for the bands this year.
