Cornwall goes all symphonic

A new ensemble group Cornwall Symphonic Brass has been set up with the cream of the areas players.

After many years playing with Camborne Town Band and more recently the PolySteel Band, Graham Boag has set up a new Brass Ensemble.

Best players

Rehearsals have already begun of the Cornwall Symphonic Brass. The ensemble is a new and exciting brass group based in Truro, Cornwall with the ensembles membership taken from the best brass players and percussionists from across the county.

It is the goal of the ensemble to be held in high regard throughout Cornwall and further a field for it's musical excellence and entertainment4BR

Debut

Rehearsals began on the 4th of August and the ensemble are busy rehearsing for it’s first performance later this month at Truro Methodist Church which forms part of 'Music Truro' festival which is running that week.

Half of the proceeds from this concert will go towards the Organ Restoration Fund.
