Chair of the Band, Matthew Bailey told 4BR: "We are delighted to confirm Carl as MD. I’d like to thank the many applicants, some of whom had more than enough experience to get the job, but Carl impressed the band with his enthusiasm, positivity and attention to detail, and he was the unanimous choice."

I'm very excited to be MD at Besses. It's great to be in a band with such positive people. There is massive potential here, and I'm looking forward to helping the band back to where it should be in the upper tier of bandingCarl Whiteoak
