New look and feel at 4BR

Later today 4BR will be launching its new look site.

4BR

The decision puts 4BR in the ideal position to continue to be at the forefront of reporting and commenting on all that goes on in the brass band movement throughout the world, with the opportunity the new look gives to develop new features and exciting possibilities.

New features

4BR Director Anthony Banwell is excited by what it offers. "It has been hard work, but the rebuild gives the site a much cleaner, user friendly feel with the addition of new features and the possibilities of much more as we integrate the most up to date technology."

Benefits

He added: "The immediate benefits of this first stage of redevelopment will be for the end user, and although there will be certain areas that will retain the old look for now, they will be phased out as we bring in more changes in the near future."

Future

4BR Editor Iwan Fox believes the site shows the way forward for media coverage of the banding movement as a whole. "Internet media coverage is the future as we look to appeal to a much broader readership. The success of the 4BR site reflects this and we hope we will continue to be innovative in what we do."

First phase

The first phase of a three-tiered plan will be launched later this afternoon, so there may be some problems with existing links to the site throughout the day.

Be patient though as we think you will like it.
