The Mount Gambier Brass Band Festival will be held again this year on November 15 with the usual Christmas Parade, which is watched by 20,000+ spectators, and subsequently telecast by WIN TV.

The adjudicator for the afternoon music contest will be well known icon of the music world, Mr. Bill Broughton.

Share Money
The festival is supported by the City Council and the Lions Club of Mount Gambier and there will be opportunity for bands to share the modest cash prizes on offer.
Veteran's Band
A special feature of this year’s event will be the appearance of the Salvation Army’s Veteran’s Band from Melbourne who will perform at the festival concert on the Saturday night.
The band will be in Mount Gambier for the weekend to assist with celebrations for the 125th anniversary of Salvation Army activities in the district.

There is still time for bands to consider attending this special event which is now regarded as an essential part of the banding calendar by many.
