4BR has been informed that Scherzo Brass have finally gone online with the launch of their new website www.scherzobrass.co.uk

The brass quartet is formed from students attending the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester as has been in existence for two years.

They are the current British Open Champions and also the 2008 Philip Jones Brass Ensemble Competition winners and enjoy performing at many concert venues around the UK.

Scherzo Brass has featured at some of the best brass festivals across the country including the RNCM Festival of Brass, the Black Dyke Brass Arts Festival and are looking forward to this weekend when they are due to take part in the Great Northern Brass Arts Festival at Manchester's Bridgewater Hall.

The group has an ever increasing repertoire and have been privilaged enough to have a work written especially for them by Lucy Pankhurst.
