Sell out

The ceremony took place in the yearly Brass Gala of the Year with the Black Dyke Band in The Lawei Concert Hall in Drachten, where Deputy Lord Mayor Fred Veenstra surprised the sell out audience and the unsuspecting composer.

Besides the international award, conductor, clinician and arranger Klaas van der Woude received this year’s Dutch Brass Award for his contribution to Dutch brass music.
