Philip Biggs has told 4BR that he would like to take the opportunity to publicly all the sponsors of this year’s Great Northern Brass Arts Festival which takes place this Saturday at The Bridgewater Hall in Manchester.
Increased interest
The support of the sponsors this year has meant increased coverage and interest in the event.
Philip told 4BR: "Long term sponsors Yamaha and Besson remain committed to this, the largest non-competitive brass music festival of its type. This year it is anticipated that some 400 performers will take part and an estimated 3,500 people will attend the festival.

New sponsors
This year the festival welcomes three new sponsors: York Instruments, Studio Music and The Worshipful Company of Musicians.
Philip added: "This is very good news for this year and for the future of the event. I am extremely grateful for all the support the festival receives and particularly pleased with the sponsorship of Yamaha, Besson, York Instruments, Studio Music and The Worshipful Company of Musicians. Their support is crucial to the success of the festival."
