LGB Brass, based in Lewes, East Sussex, is swapping the bandstand for a bullring in September.
Turbulent
Musicians from the band are playing for a professional production of the opera, 'Carmen', at the Congress Theatre in Eastbourne. The production is set in the famous bullring in Seville in Spain and follows the turbulent love life of the gypsy girl, Carmen.

Extra
LGB Brass launches each performance by parading through the theatre playing 'Spanish Gypsy Dance' by Pascual Marquina. The musicians will also be extras in the show.
Band secretary, Jane Stewart, told 4BR: "We’ll be playing the parts of military bandsmen in the background, chatting and joking or polishing the instruments."
