The South Australian Band Association (SABA) are delighted with the entries this year, with nineteen bands set to take to the stage.
The competition, looking to be one of the best in years, is to be held in the beautiful Elder Hall in the University of Adelaide.

OWN CHOICE
This year, bands will play an Own Choice Selection as the major work, as well as a hymn and concert item.
Own Choice selections include Tallis Variations, Spectrum, English Heritage, Harmony Festival, Music for a Festival, Variations on 'Laudate Dominum', Dimensions, English Folk Songs Suite, A Northumbrian Suite, Oregon, and A Malvern Suite.
THE ADJUDICATORS
The adjudicators for the weekend events are Peter Walmsley OAM, from Sydney, and Colin Archibald from South Australia.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
SABA are still seeking volunteers for the day for tasks such as stage set up, escorting bands from the warm up area to the stage, door guards and ticket sellers.
