As entries for the 2009 Butlins Mineworkers’ National Open Brass Band Festival are beginning to be arrive in volume, 4BR has been asked by the Contest Administrator, Brian Eggleshaw to remind band secretaries to post their entry forms off as soon as possible.

Postage size

They are also reminded that if they use anything larger than a standard envelope (240mm x 165mm x 5mm), it will be classed as a large envelope by the Post Office, and they will not deliver it unless the correct postage is affixed. i.e. First class – 52p, and Second class – 42p.
