Pope and Roberts gain awards

Peter Roberts and Alan Pope will receive the Iles and Mortimer Medals this year.

Soprano star Pete Roberts and conductor Alan Pope are to receive the Worshipful Company of Musicians medals at the British Open Championships this year.

Medals

Peter has been awarded the Iles Medal in recognition of his services to the brass band movement both as a player and now as a busy adjudicator, whilst Alan will receive the Mortimer Medal in recognition to his services to youth teaching.
