After a very short spell of six months the Longridge Band has sadoi farewell to Tom and Rob Johnson.

Success

A spokesperson for the band told 4BR: "The band wishes these players every success in the future and thanks these two players for their commitment they have put into the band."

Positive note

On a positive note the band announce the new signing of Gareth Milston on tenor horn. Gareth has previously played cornet for Morecambe Band before moving to Pilling on solo horn.

The spokesperson added: "The band hope that Gareth will enjoy his time with the band and look forward to concerts and recordings in the next following weeks."
