Brisbane Brass conducted by Greg Aitken, and Brisbane Excelsior conducted by Howard Taylor, will join forces this Sunday afternoon to preview their major works for the upcoming New Zealand Championships.
Both A Grade bands will perform the test selection Ballet for Band by Joseph Horowitz, as well as their own choice reflective/sacred item and major work.
The preview will commence at 3.30pm on Sunday 6 July in the Windsor School of Arts, Lutwyche Road, Windsor.
Admission is free, and all visitors are invited to join the bands afterwards where food will be provided and drinks will be on sale.
The New Zealand Championships are being held in Christchurch, 9-13 July.
