Robert Morgan MBE has told 4BR of his delight at what seems to have been a highly successful English National Contest at Preston Guild Hall on Saturday.
Looking rosy
Speaking exclusively to 4BR Robert felt that after three years of growth the contest has now firmly found its feet and that the outlook for the event in years to come was certainly looking rosy.
Robert also hinted that there was the possibility of another new composition being available for the bands to place next year, although they would also look back in the banding library4BR
Encouraged
Robert was also encouraged by the obvious increase in supporter numbers throughout the day, whilst he felt that the innovations that have been put in place (the issuing of wristbands to competing players to allow free hall entry for example) were proving to be beneficial.
Robert also hinted that there was the possibility of another new composition being available for the bands to place next year, although they would also look back in the banding library.
