Bactiguard Wire Brass has welcomed Kim Thorp on euphonium and Gillian Hinckley on repiano cornet as two summer signings.
Kim has recently completed her music degree at the Royal Northern College of Music and will commence her PGCE studies in September, whilst Gillian is no stranger to the band.
Milestones
A Band spokesperson told 4BR: "Having graced some of the finest concert halls with many of the country's top bands, Gillian brings a unique blend of experience and quality that will be essential to the further development of a young progressive band like Bactiguard Wire Brass. We hope that Gillian, like Kim, can help the band achieve many more milestones over the coming months and years."
