The Princeton Brass Band will be giving the World Premiere of Ronald Hemmel's 'Grounds and Sculptures' later this month in Lawrenceville, New Jersey, USA.
Sculptures
The work is based on a series of sculptures found at the famous Grounds For Sculpture in Hamilton, New Jersey.
Each musical depiction of the sculptures is interwoven with a sequence of 'grounds' or passacaglias, and the performance will be presented with projections of the sculptures behind the band.
