It has been announced by the organisers of the West Lothian Festival of Brass that the Kirkintilloch Band has withdrawn from the first semi final which is due to take place this Sunday, 1st June.

Lack of playing resources

Citing lack of player availability, despite being able to field four guest players, the contest will now take place between the two other contenders, Scottish Co-op and Unison Kinneil.

The second semi final between Whitburn, Kingdom Brass and Newtongrange will take place on Sunday 8th June.
