21 brass bands will compete this Sunday in the 83rd Annual Bendigo Eisteddfod, run by the Bendigo Competitions Society.
There will be plenty of interest in the competition as some bands have recently been regraded and will be testing their worthiness in the new grades.
Also, successful UK conductor Steve Bastable, has surfaced in Australia and will be making his Aussie debut out the front of Kew Band Melbourne, following the resignation of Mark Ford as MD in April.
