The latest World of Brass – 4barsrest rankings see Cory Band back at the top following its victory at the European Championships in Stavanger, while Stavanger Band, Brass Band Fribourg and Brass Band Buizingen also made significant strides up the table following their excellent results in Norway.
Leyland’s victory at the Grand Shield sees the North West band consolidate its position in the top ten, with a further opportunity to do so now looming in September, when it will be joined by the upwardly-mobile BTM Band.
