Brass Britain tonight

Radio 2 to air Brass Britain programme tonight — and the critics are liking it too!

 

Brass Britain, the new four part series abou the brass band movement is being aired on Radio 2 tonight at 11.30pm.

Critics choice

The critics from the press have been impressed too by the 'Made in Manchester' production that will feature a host of personalities talking about the movements and its effect on British cultural life.

Pick of the Week

The first programme was the 'Pick of the Week' in the Independent on Saturday, was Gillian Reynolds’ 'Choice' in the Daily Telegraph on Saturday, was also 'Pick of the Day' with 4 stars (beating competition from Radio 4) in the Daily Mail on the weekend and was 'RT Choice' in the Radio Times as well as the main radio feature spread.
