The recently crowned European Conductor winner Mathias Wehr will make his UK debut at The Sage next year.

Following his win at the 4th European Conductors Competition in Stavanger, the young German maestro Mathias Wehr has been engaged to make his conducting debut in the UK at The Sage next year.

Mathias will join the Northern “All-Stars” Band in February next year as part of Ray Farr's continued programme of brass related events at the venue. Also on the bill for the concert will be euphonium star David Childs and concert pianist Andy Nercessian.
