Results: Elland Slow Melody & Quartet

Great standard of young and old performers at Elland.

 

The Elland Silver Band recently held its Slow Melody & Quartet Contest.

Richard Marshall was in the 'Box' for the whole of the day and speaking to the competitors and audience prior to the prize giving, stated how much he had enjoyed the day and was very impressed with the standard of playing in all sections.

11 years & under:

Adjudicators Award was awarded to Bethan Plant for the most musical performance in the section.

Boarshurst Silver Band

February 17 • Boarshurst Silver Band, NW Championship Section, requires a BBb player, flugel, and front row cornet player. Under MD Jamie Prophet, the band have an ambitious and varied calendar for 2025, including NW Area, Spring Festival and Whit Friday.
