The Elland Silver Band recently held its Slow Melody & Quartet Contest.
Richard Marshall was in the 'Box' for the whole of the day and speaking to the competitors and audience prior to the prize giving, stated how much he had enjoyed the day and was very impressed with the standard of playing in all sections.
