The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama has been celebrating their small part in Cory's recent European win in Stavanger.
Five RWCMD students were playing with the band as well as four members of staff including Director of Brass Band studies, Dr Robert Childs.
Historic win
Bob Childs told 4BR: "I'm also pleased that so many RWCMD students were part of this historic win. Most colleges have Brass Bands in Residence but the partnership between RWCMD and Cory can clearly be seen to be active and vibrant."
Without the students input into this event the title would not be travelling to Wales. This is real evidence that community and collegiate collaboration really does workBob Childs
