Marlene Davies, as outgoing Treasurer, did not seek re-election for this position, but will remain as a Councillor.

In the Presidents annual report, Chris Bowman advised that the VBL generated a surplus in 2007. This was largely attributed to the success of the National Championship held at Easter 2007.

Also advised was the change in venue for the State Solo & Ensemble Championships over the weekend of 2nd & 3rd August. This year the competition will move to the Firbank Grammar, Brighton.
