The passing of Carl Hartnett

The death of one of Queensland brass banding stalwarts, Carl Hartnett, has been announced.

A dedicated and devoted bandsman, Carl passed away on Saturday 12 April.

Carl was a Life Member of Maryborough Brass, a past President and Secretary of the band and a tireless worker on many Best of Brass committees.

A funeral service will be held at the Maryborough Crematorium, Bruce Highway, Maryborough tomorrow, Thursday 17 April, commencing at 2.00pm.
