The current Brass in Concert Champion, Brighouse and Rastrick has welcomed a new foursome to their ranks with John Lee joining on flugel, Gavin Barr on first horn, Matthew Mills on percussion and Graham Bushell solo cornet.

Quartet

John has recently been playing with Sheffield based group ‘The Brass Players’ following a short break from banding, whilst Gavin is from County Tyrone in Northern Ireland and is currently studying at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. He comes to the band from Pennine Brass.

Matthew Mills joins on percussion from YBS whilst Graham Bushell has recently moved from North Wales to study in Manchester and joins on the front row from Beaumaris.
