The Fife Brass Band Festival takes place on Saturday 19th April in the Carnegie Hall, Dunfermline.

Healthy entry

A total of 27 bands have entered the contest which starts at 9.30 am and will play a 15 minute concert programme. The four championship bands will play a 20 minute concert programme.

English challenge

In addition to bands from all over Scotland this year the organisers are pleased to welcome two bands from the North of England to the contest and theye hope that they enjoy their day in Dunfermline both at the contest and in the town.

The contest also has a non-contesting band making their first appearance this year with Arbroath Youth under their conductor Mrs A Ness.
