Plans are well advanced for the Gala Evening Concert following the 2008 All England Masters International Brass Band Championship.

Organisers Philip Biggs and Richard Franklin are told 4BR that they are delighted to announce that the two featured bands this year are Fairey and Scottish Co-op.

This year's concert follows the popular established format set in recent years with both bands giving their own one hour concert. The Yamaha Solo Artist for 2008 will be the cornet virtuoso Russell
Gray. Russell will appear with both bands in the Gala Concert.
