Enderby end Thomas partnership

Following his recent appointment with Pennine Brass, Enderby and Huw Thomas part company.

Enderby

The Enderby Band has announced that its partnership with MD Huw Thomas has ended following his recent appointment as resident MD at Pennine Brass.

Progress

Enderby Chairman Dave Stanley paid tribute to Huw’s excellent work during his 3 year tenure as MD: "During this period the band has made enormous progress, enjoying contesting success at Leicester, Leamington and Buxton and was promoted to the Championship Section last year, narrowly missing out on a trip to the 1st section national finals."

We would like to sincerely thank Huw for his hard work during his time with us and wish him well for the futureChairman, David Stanley

Saddened

He added: "Whilst the band is saddened by Huw’s departure, and gave serious consideration to his request to continue our association, we ultimately felt that it would prove impractical and compromise our continued progress. We would like to sincerely thank Huw for his hard work during his time with us and wish him well for the future."

The Band is continuing to work hard during the lead up to the Buxton contest in May and will make a further announcement with regard to the MD’s position in the near future.
