Dalewool Auckland Brass is excited to announce the launch of its 2008 Subscription Concert Series.

As the concert series grows in popularity and appeal Dalewool Brass is constantly seeking new and exciting programming ideas.

2008 is no exception with guest artists including the highly acclaimed Westlake Girls Choir, conducted by Karen Grills, the flair of bagpipes and Celtic dancers for the “Night of the Celts” and our continued association with the magnificent Graduate Choir.

Once again for the 2008 concert series there is no Ticketek service charges on the purchase of all Subscriptions – so you can get the best seats and save money!!

Also remember there are special concession prices for senior citizens, beneficiaries, and students – enquire when booking your subscription or individual tickets.

The first concert is sure to be a sell out as the band joins the Westlake Girls Choir for an “ANZAC Tribute” at the Bruce Mason Centre on Sunday 20 April at 2.00pm.

For individual tickets to the “ANZAC Tribute” concert tickets must be purchased through Ticketmaster Phone (09) 970 9700. All other tickets including subscription packages that include the ANZAC concert must be purchased through Ticketek Phone 0800 TICKETEK.

Some of the best loved melodies originate from Celtic roots. Don’t miss this evening of Celtic passion, featuring the band alongside the unforgettable sound of pipes, the flair of Celtic dance and popular vocal favourites. A night to remember!

Broadway Showstoppers, Friday 19 September, 7.30pm
Holy Trinity Cathedral, Parnell
Don’t miss this opportunity to hear all your favourite Broadway Hits when Dalewool Auckland Brass team up with one of Auckland’s most entertaining vocal groups, the Greater Auckland Chorus, for an evening of favourite show tunes both new and old.

The World’s Most Beautiful Melodies, Thursday 23 October, 7.30pm
St Matthews in-the-City
The warm sounds of brass resonate in St Matthews in-the-city for a concert featuring some of the world’s most loved and adored melodies. Some of the bands internationally acclaimed soloists will be featured in the programme – not to be missed!

A Celebration of Christmas, Saturday 29 November – 7:00pm

Celebrate Christmas with the special magic of brass and voice! Join Dalewool Auckland Brass and Auckland’s highly acclaimed Graduate Choir in an evening of modern and traditional Christmas favourites.
