Rode Hall Silver Band has been invited to be the star attraction at Italy's 'Eurofest' in Venice on Oct 3rd — 5th this year.

European Year of Intercultural Dialogue

As this is the 'European Year of Intercultural Dialogue' (as if our readers didn't know), the band will play three concerts to introduce British brass band culture to a part of the world where brass bands are rarely heard.

One concert — to be played to over 1,000 school children will hopefully encourage some of them to start playing brass instruments and create a brass band movement in the area4BR

The main concert on the Saturday evening will take place in the stunning Duomo Cathedral in Este to an audience of local and EU dignateries.
