Salvationist trumpeter Christopher Deacon was guest soloist recently at Belfast Salvation Army Temple.

London Symphony Orchestra

Christopher, a fifth generation Salvationist from Regent Hall corps has just returned from touring as guest principal trumpet with the London Symphony Orchestra and was working in Belfast with his regular orchestra, The Royal Ballet Sinfonia over the weekend.

Christopher was able to take part in the services on Sunday by playing several solos with Belfast Temple SA Band. These included 'In the love of Jesus' (Hammond arr. RSA), 'Jubilance' (Himes), 'Tucker' (Leidzen) and 'They shall be mine' (Catherwood).
