Percussion Test pieces will be announced 22nd February 2008 but
will include workshops.

It is also anticipated that the Senior A and B grade band competitions in 2008 will be comprised of Hymn, Test Piece and Own Choice, and the Senior C, D and all Junior Grade competitions will be comprised of Hymn OR Entertainment Item, Test and Own Choice.

The inclusion, which is yet to be confirmed, of an Entertainment Item choice doesn’t impact the fact that screened adjudication applies.

The State Solo and Party Event Championships will be held 21st and 22nd June at Bankstown Grammar School.

The State Brass Band Championships will be held 6th and 7th September at Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre, Penrith.
