The bands and supporters heading to the Winter Gardens on Sunday will need to give themselves plenty of time to arrive as there are roadworks on the M6 this weekend.

Broughton Interchange

Roadworks on any motorway is hardly a surprise, but it's Junction 32 where the M6 meets the M55 for the Blackpool turn off that could cause problems this Sunday.

The junction is expected to be closed until around 10.00am next Sunday morning with diversions in operation directing traffic to Junction 33 and then coming back south before coming off at Junction 32.

10.30am start

With a 10.30am start, anyone attending the event should give themselves extra time to travel on the morning of the contest.
