2008 French Open

First details released for this year's event amid the lovely surroundings of Amboise in France.

The 2008 French Open will take place later this year on the weekend of the6th to 8th June and will be headlined by a Gala Concert featuring Brass Band Willebroek with Roger Webster as guest soloist.

Entries

The organisers report at entries are filling up nicely with some capacity for entries particularly in the Elite Section which carries the title of French Open Champions. The test piece for the top section bands is Eric Ball's "Journey into Freedom".

The many outdoor events also make this a tremendous Festival.
