Two new feature articles appear on 4BR this weekend as the eyes and ears of the brass band movement focus on the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester for the 2008 Festival of Brass.

4BR’s Chris Thomas previews the whole weekend, starting with Black Dyke’s concert tonight, whilst in the first of a new series of in depth interviews, he talks to Paul Hindmarsh, the man who more than most continues to strive to give the movement a high profile presence on the media airwaves.
