The Brass in Concert Championships takes place on the weekend of the 14th & 15th November

The sold-out signs will once again be displayed at the 2026 Brass in Concert Championship following the news that all the tickets for the 49th event have been sold in record time — and over two months before the first of the 11 competitors takes to the stage.

Don't miss a note

The contest takes place on Saturday 14th November, and whilst you now have to wait and see if there are any returned tickets to grab a seat at The Glasshouse International Centre for Music in Gateshead, you can still enjoy every performance at home thanks to the live-stream broadcast by World of Brass on the www.wobplay.com media platform.

Electric atmosphere

Speaking about the news, CEO Nigel Stevens commented: "It's incredibly heartening to see the avid support for the Championship. There's nothing like experiencing it live — and with 1,500 people seated in Sage One on the Saturday, the atmosphere is sure to be electric.

We can't wait to welcome everyone to The Glasshouse for what is shaping up to be a memorable weekend of world-class performances."

In addition to the competitive action, there is also the return of audience favourites Backstage Brass to provide the pre and post results entertainment.
