Entries now open for SWBBA Contest in Torquay

The popular own choice event takes place in November — and entries are now open.

The contest will be held at The Riviera Centre in Torquay

The 78th South West Brass Band Association (SWBBA) Contest will take place on Saturday 7th November 2026 at The Riviera Centre in Torquay.

There will be the usual six sections of own-choice competition which will be judged by Chris Binns and Stephanie Binns.

Entries are now open for the Open (Combined Championship/First), Second, Third, Fourth/Ungraded, Youth and Training sections. The closing date is 31st July.
