The range now includes the flugel horn

CalderPips has announced the launch of its new Hush Tone flugel horn mutes, adding to the range of products that have made a significant impact on the banding world over the past year.

4BR was informed that is follows extensive development with leading players to adhere to the core CalderPips principles of excellent intonation, a free-blowing feel, and a consistent response across all registers.

Demands

A spokesperson said: "All our mutes are designed with the demands of brass band, orchestral and ceremonial players in mind. They offer a highly playable resistance profile while maintaining a centred, characteristic sound.

The flugel horn mutes carry that on, making them ideal for warm-ups, backstage use, and controlled practice without compromising tone quality."

Any colour

The mutes are available in any colour of the rainbow, allowing players to personalise their setup without sacrificing performance. Built for durability as well as function, they continue the brand's reputation for producing robust, reliable equipment suited to both rehearsal room and stage.
