Welsh bands ready for Treforest battles

There is an encouraging entry of bands for the South East Wales BBA Contest in Treforest.

  The contest takes place in Treforest this weekend

There is an encouraging line-up of competitors for the forthcoming SEWBBA Treforest Brass Band Festival.

Own choice

It takes place at the University of South Wales Conference Centre in Treforest on Saturday May 16th starting at 10.00am, and is sponsored by the Nicola Morris Trust with bands performing their own-choice test-piece works.

There is on site cafeteria, bar and trade stands, including Geneva Instruments.

You can also find out more about the forthcoming IBBSS Summer School in Swansea.

Tintwistle Band

June 9 • Tintwistle Band are looking for a 2nd horn player to help complete the team. . We rehearse Monday and Thursday 8-10pm under the baton of our MD Jim Henson, at our own bandroom on Old Road in Tintwistle, and perform a variety of concerts all year round.
