Judges confirmed for North of England Regional Championships

The adjudication teams for the North of England Regional Championships have been announced.

  The contests take place over the weekend of the 21st & 22nd March in Durham

The organisers of the North of England Brass Band Championships have confirmed the line-up of judges who will make the qualification invitation decisions at the event on the weekend of the 21st & 22nd March at the Gala Theatre, Durham.

Saturday will host in order, the Second, Fourth and First Sections, with Sunday to feature the Third and Championships Sections. The organisers have also confirmed that they are particularly pleased that three bands, Driffield Silver, Easingwold Town and Marske Silver have returned to compete in the Fourth Section.

Great weekend

Regional Secretary, Tony Griffiths, stated: "We hope they and their supporters have a great weekend as we welcome our adjudicators. We look forward to their deliberations alongside welcoming everyone back to a fine contest."

Two bands in each section will be invited to represent the region at the Royal Albert Hall and Cheltenham National Finals.
