Bousfield set for Welsh appearance

Trombone star Ian Bousfield will head to Cardiff in February to join the RWCM&D Brass Band in concert.

Concertos

There will be a great opportunity to enjoy the world class talents of trombone soloist Ian Bousfield in Cardiff on Friday 13th February (7.30pm), when he joins up with the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama Brass Band to showcase performances of Buxton Orr's 'Trombone Concerto' and Grant Kirkhope's 'KirkFeld Concerto'.

He will be accompanied by the RWCM&D Brass Band under the direction of Dr Robert Childs, with the band also providing substantial offerings in the form of Eric Ball's 'Journey into Freedom' as well works by Edward Gregson, Goff Richards, Jonathan Bates, Norman Gimbel and Fredrick Schjelderup.
