'Bandstand' is a new brass band radio broadcast on ABC Classic in Australia.

Programme:
The weekly one hour programme each Wednesday at 7.00pm is hosted by presenter Lucas Burns with the aim to, "celebrate the richness of brass and wind repertoire."

This week's broadcast (Wednesday 28th Jan) includes music by Bliss, Gott, Ireland and Wagner as well as soloists Peter Moore and Wynton Marsalis from bands such as Black Dyke, Grimethorpe Colliery, Sydney Brass, and the London Brass Virtuosi.

North SomerCommunity Brass

March 13 • Cornet and bass players required. We are a fun and relaxed non contesting band and are looking to swell our numbers. Players of any instrument will be very warmly welcomed, but we would really love some more cornets and basses (instruments available).
