The incredible performance by Yasuaki Fukuhara of Simon Dobson's 'Percussion Concerto' can be enjoyed on his brand new solo CD release.

Those fortunate enough to enjoy the thrilling RNCM International Brass Band Festival concerto performance of Japanese percussionist Yasuaki Fukuhara, will also have been lucky enough to have been able to purchase his brand new solo CD, 'The Hall of Healing' which was on sale on the weekend.

Accompanied by the Black Dyke Band under the baton of Prof Nicholas Childs it also features Simon Dobson's 'Percussion Concerto No.1' which saw Yasuaki entrance the audience in Manchester.

The actual performance from the RNCM will be released on the wobplay media platform shortly, but if you cannot wait, the 'The Hall of Healing' CD is now out on the Doyen label (CD454) as well as the wobplay.com media platform.

It features works James McFadyen, Rodney Newton, Ben Wahlund, Markus Ridderbusch and the performer himself with his own compositions, 'Childlike' which is a duet with Black Dyke's 'Gareth Hand, and 'At Dusk' and the unaccompanied 'Daiko'.
