Yorkshire Area line-ups confirmed

There will be 54 bands battling to become Yorkshire champions in Huddersfield in March.

  54 bands will take to the stage at Huddersfield Town Hall in March

The line-ups for the forthcoming Yorkshire Reginal Championship to be held at Huddersfield Town Hall on the weekend of the 7th & 8th March have been confirmed.

The schedule will see Saturday 7th March kick-off at 9.00am with the 11 bands competing in the First Section. They will be followed by the 11 contenders in the Third Section (starting around 1.30pm) with the day closing with the 10 Fourth Section bands at around 6.05pm.

Sunday 8th March will start at 9.30am with the 10 bands competing in the Second Section, followed by the 12 Championship Section challengers at 3.00pm.

Defending champion Black Dyke has already secured a pre-qualification invitation to the Royal Albert Hall, and will be joined by two other qualifying bands. Two bands from each of the other sections will represent Yorkshire at the Cheltenham National Finals.
