An Isle of Wight brass band has launched a YouTube channel to satisfy demand from its growing fan base.

Abbey Brass from the Isle of Wight has ensured that it is satisfying the demand of its growing supporter base with the band now launching its own YouTube channel.

MD Phillip Littlemore told 4BR: "The band has built up quite a following amongst islanders since its formation four years ago, especially through our concerts.

Our active group of supporters cannot always make it to them and we've been experimenting with Facebook Live with some success.

Now we have begun videoing our performances to create content for our new YouTube channel with our recent concert at the prestigious Quarr Abbey, with its wonderful acoustics providing the ideal launch for the initiative."
