North West Regional Champion Foden's have confirmed the signing of Ollie Jackson on percussion.

The RNCM music student joins from Carlton Main Frickley. He is currently studying in Manchester under Simone Rebello and began his musical journey at Oughtibridge Band in Yorkshire and with Youth Brass 2000.

He also performs with a wide range of ensembles, orchestras, musical theatre groups and function bands aiding his experience including orchestral percussion, timpani, tuned percussion and drum kit.

Looking forward

Speaking about his move he said: "I'm so grateful for my time at Carlton Main and to have been a part of a great band, I now look forward to joining Foden's and beginning the next chapter in my musical career."

In welcoming him to the Sandbach band, Foden's percussionist Mark Landon added: "We are all delighted that Ollie has joined us. He's a fantastic all-rounder who will be a hugely valuable addition to the band."
