The closing date for the 2025 Willebroek Solo Contest which is to be held at the Municipal Theatre in Willebroek on Sunday 9th November is fast approaching.

Categories

The event first took place in 2021 and has since become one of the most significant competitions of its kind in European banding, with categories for Up to 12 Years of Age; 13-15 Years of Age; 16-18 Years of Age and 19 Years and above.

The winner of the Blue Riband senior category will win a first prize of 1,000 Euros, whilst there are a host of other awards on offer, including a specially commissioned solo work from composer Stijn Aertgeerts, a solo performance appearance, bespoke lessons and vouchers.
