The West Midlands Police Brass Band were recently given the honour of leading the music at the recent National Police Memorial Service held at Coventry Cathedral.

The event brought together representatives from across the UK, with senior government figures sat alongside members of the public to pay tribute to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to their communities.

Steve told 4BR: "It was a tremendous honour to represent West Midlands Police at such a major national event, performing in front of the Home Secretary, Shadow Home Secretary, and several Members of Parliament.

The band worked incredibly hard in preparation for this occasion, and I couldn't be prouder of their professionalism and dedication."
